Here’s the scoop, children! MTV has contacted us about putting our parody “Jewno” in the running for an MTV Movie Award, as part of their spoof contest. The re-cut video is on the MTV playlist page. Barring a miracle, it’d be difficult to recreate our #s, since so many people saw it when it first hit the blogs, so help us out!
If you wanna take a gander at the edit, if you wanna vote it “Funny” at the end of the vid, if you wanna leave a nice comment, if you want to blog it or pass it on to friends - all of the above is encouraged and appreciated!
Edit: We are in the lead still, BUT - they moved us to the end of the roster, probably trying to pick up votes for the earlier vids. Jewno’s wayyy at the end!
Approximately one year ago, I began a self-portrait project - one every day for a year. The objective was not to view time lapse, but rather to experiment with portraiture and to develop/hone my skills and style making each one different. In my eyes, I’ve succeeded. If only because I truly and honestly did not think I would be able to commit to the project.
Now it’s over! Not only am I proud of myself, but I love myself! That’s a good feeling! Many thanks to those who loved and supported me along the way!
